How long does your church service last?
Our worship service centers on God and the preaching of His Word. Every hymn, chorus, or special focuses your heart and mind on God. You can expect our worship service to last around an hour.
What should I wear for a church service?
We want you to feel welcome and comfortable here at North Flushing Baptist Church. Many of our church family dress up for our services, but feel free to wear what’s comfortable for you.
What are your worship services like?
Our worship services are designed to glorify God and encourage believers. You are welcome to join our congregation as we sing great hymns of the faith and familiar choruses. Our pastor will then share a message from God’s Word, sharing truths from the Bible that are applicable to your everyday life and that will encourage you to know God and follow Him daily.
Where do I take my children?
Our children’s ministry includes the nursery, children’s Connect Groups, and Kids Worship. Church hosts are available to help you find the class for your child when you enter the lobby.
Where do my teenagers go?
Junior high and high school students meet in the Youth Room for Connect Group and for Wednesday Teen Service. During Sunday Morning Worship and Sunday Evening Worship, they will be in the main service.
What Connect Group do I go to?
Our adult ministry has several Connect Groups, ranging in size. They meet in several rooms throughout the church. A church host can direct you to a Connect Group. While many Connect Groups are available based on your stage of life, you’re welcome to try different Connect Groups to find one that best suits you.
Do you offer accessibility to people of all ages and abilities?
Yes, we want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable in our services.
Our church is fully wheelchair accessible.
Two covered entrances are available for drop-off. These locations are a safe, convenient drop-off for families, seniors, and those with special needs.
Our Sunday Morning Worship Service is interpreted by an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter. A church host can direct you to the appropriate seating location.
Hearing-assistance devices are available for our services. Stop by our sound booth to pick one up, or ask a church host for assistance.
