Pastor Josh was saved when he was 15 after searching for freedom from sin in God's Word. He came to Romans 6 and realized his need for Christ because he realized he had never had victory over sin and instead was a slave to his sin although he had been in church most of his life and had made a profession when he was 4. This realization caused him to truly trust in Jesus as his personal Savior, and the Lord changed his life.
He grew in his love for God and His Word, and he began to have a desire to teach people God's Word and pastor. God called Josh to go to Pensacola Christian College where he completed his undergraduate degree and master's degree. He met his wife Elizabeth while at college, and they were married in 2017. They have two young boys. Josh has been the Pastor of North Flushing Baptist since January 2022.

Pastor J.B. was saved after the attacks on 9/11 after realizing his need to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. As he grew, the Lord placed a burden for missions on his heart, and he attended Pensacola Christian College to pursue a degree in Missions. The Lord opened his eyes to the current mission needs in the United States, especially among youth. As a result, the Lord called him into full time youth ministry. Before coming to North Flushing, Pastor J.B. had served as a Youth Pastor in Florida for over three years. Since then, the Lord has called him here, and he has been serving as the Youth Pastor since November 2025.
Pastor J.B. is married with two children, and his wife and family are a blessing to our church.
