CARE NETWORK
This Ministry is Currently Being Developed and Will be Active Soon

We put a lot our time and energy into caring for and loving people.  In fact, part of our mission statement says, “Love one another sacrificially.” Jesus cares for people; 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” We are also instructed to bear one another’s burdens. Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” Really, ministry and church life is about becoming more like Christ so we can serve like Christ. Caring for others is the natural result for Christians who serve Christ. There are several ways we serve one another here at NFBC:

NFBC offers a Prayer Network where you can submit and receive prayer requests on this website.

In addition to the Prayer Network, we have developed a Care Network of pastors, deacons, and trained volunteers to comfort and help in time of need. We serve others by doing our best to support families who experience the death of a loved one.  We serve by helping with funerals and funeral meals to be a blessing with comfort in a time of need. Our pastors and deacons want to be a comfort by spending time with people who are sick in the hospital, nursing home, home bound, or whatever the need is for personal care and prayer.

Our pastoral staff is always ready to minister in time of need.  However, our deacons are the first point of contact in this ministry.  Our deacons, as an extension of the pastoral team, will be happy to help in time of need.  If you prefer, the deacon on call can direct you to the contact information of one of our pastors.  Either way, we want to be a blessing to you in your time of need.

Request one of our on-call deacons to visit and pray with you by clicking here.
